Regional SPFs
Supporting the delivery of policy with implications for the healthcare workforce
Regional SPFs have become increasingly prominent and integral to the delivery of national and regional policy and programmes that impact on the health workforce. Through the regional SPFs, partners recognise respective roles and responsibilities, establish shared values and common purpose, and set key principles for effective joint working. This provides important benefits including ensuring high standards of employment practice in the NHS and improved services for patients and service users.
The engagement teams
NHS Employers engagement teams support the regional SPFs. There are three teams supporting three areas of the country: North East and Yorkshire, and North West; the South West, the Midlands, and East of England; and London, and the South East.
