Midlands SPF statement of intent
The Midlands SPF has released a statement of intent in response to recent announcements on NHS infrastructure changes and workforce reductions.
The Midlands SPF has agreed its role in relation to the workforce reductions and financial saving targets which are now required of Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), NHS providers and NHS England.
Supporting the NHS’s goal of treating staff in line with the NHS People Promise, the Midlands SPF will:
- Influence nationally by sharing concerns, issues and feedback with appropriate national bodies.
- Share good practice and appropriate communications.
- Support trade unions and employers by signposting to available resources and support for staff.
This statement will be regularly reviewed and updated in line with developments.
