HPMA Awards 2017

The SPF is proud to sponsor an award at the HPMA Excellence Awards 2017. The SPF partnership award recognises outstanding partnership working between employers and trade unions.

This year, the SPF partnership award went to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals for their initiative ‘a new attendance policy, a new approach to people management’. Trust management and staff side colleagues worked in partnership to agree and implement a new attendance policy, and successfully reduced instances of sickness absence. This new approach also built confidence and trust, ensuring future policies can be reviewed for the benefit of the organisation and its staff.
