This page gives you some examples of the types of transfers from NHS to a local council.
If you are transferring from an NHS hospital trust, a primary care trust, ambulance trust or mental health trust to the local council – e.g. where children’s services are being brought together or where services for people with learning disabilities are transferring to the Council, then you are transferring from a job in the NHS to a job in the local council.
