To make sure that the NHS Staff Passport provides you with the correct information about your transfer, you need to make sure that you know what kind of transfer you are making.
You are currently on the brown route. You are transferring from a job in an NHS organisation to a job in a GP practice or primary care contract holder. If this does not apply to you, you need to go back to the to the transfer page and choose another route.

If you are transferring from an NHS hospital or a primary care trust, mental health trust or an ambulance trust to a GP practice or other primary care contract holder you should enter the NHS Staff Passport using the brown route to find out how your transfer will affect your terms and conditions.
You will need to establish the exact nature of the contract and should seek advice on your individual circumstances from your HR Department or from your Union Representative.
