Social partnership working in the NHS

The Social Partnership Forum is committed to working in partnership nationally and supporting NHS organisations to embed social partnership working, both locally and regionally.

Physiotherapist and patient Following the Involvement and Participation Association's (IPA) review of the Social Partnership Forum and social partnership working in 2008, we are taking the recommendations and feedback from NHS Trade Unions and employers working in the NHS, to develop supporting materials for the NHS regionally and locally.

Through this section of the website we aim to:

share learning from NHS organisations that have used social partnership working to achieve benefits for staff and patients through providing case studies
provide information on the Partnership Fund including details of the successful partnership fund bids
define what social partnership working is and what makes it a success
demonstrate and build on the evidence base for social partnership working in the NHS
highlight how to build social partnerships locally
promoting existing good practice.
