Key issues from the June SPF

Reflections on the listening exercise and progress of the HR transition programme were amongst the topics discussed at the national Social Partnership Forum meeting on 30 June 2011.

Clare Chapman chaired the meeting, deputising for Simon Burns who sent his apologies due to parliamentary business.  It was Clare's last SPF before she left the Department of Health to take up a role working for BT and her strong commitment to partnership working was acknowledged by everyone.

The education and training consultation; maintaining and improving quality healthcare; leadership; QIPP; clinical commissioning groups and personal health budgets were the other topics discussed at the meeting.
