The wider Social Partnership Forum members are:
The full SPF meets twice a year with a smaller steering group meeting every two months.
Each of the three partners is responsible for nominating its representatives for the SPF steering group. Membership is:
- five Department of Health representatives
- five employer representatives
- eight Trade Union representatives.
The steering group is accountable to the wider Social Partnership Forum.
Items are placed on the agenda by any of the parties. Secretariat arrangements are provided by the Department of Health who liaise with corresponding representatives from NHS trade unions and NHS Employers.
Bi-monthly meetings are held and each partner also has its own chair. We share the key messages through our meetings and events page.
